The Del Gatto Finance Group (“DGFG”), a private credit fund founded in 2018, is the largest non-bank lender to the global jewelry and diamond industry. Middle market companies in the high-end diamond and jewelry industry are comprised of over 15,000 companies including wholesalers, cutters, and estate jewelry dealers. The midstream segment is the backbone of the industry, and these companies typically have large inventories and a regular need for short-term financing. DGFG is positioned to fill this financing gap. DGFG offers short-term secured financing to companies in the diamond industry structured as repurchase agreements which offer legal and physical ownership of the collateral during the term of the financing. Collateral includes polished and rough diamonds, as well as luxury watches and estate jewelry, at an advance rate of 60-70% LTV of the wholesale liquidation value. The DGFG team, led by CEO, Chris Del Gatto, brings over 150 years of experience in both finance and the global diamond industry.
