In 2021, Lance Uggla and Lord John Browne founded BeyondNetZero and partnered with General Atlantic to launch GA BnZ, our firm’s growth-stage platform dedicated to investing in companies pioneering solutions for climate change and the energy transition. Our second climate and sustainability report highlights the progress made by GA BnZ’s portfolio of seven companies in 2023 and how they contribute to our core themes: decarbonization, energy efficiency, emissions management, and resource conservation. Our portfolio’s avoided emissions, quantified and verified by Systemiq, our independent climate and sustainable finance advisor, increased 38% over 2023.
