Marguerite Pantheon sells stake in Belgian offshore wind farm C-Power

Marguerite Pantheon SCSp sold its 10% stake in the Belgian offshore wind farm C-Power to existing co-shareholders on February 2, 2024. C-Power, located 28 km off the Belgian coast on Thornton Bank, has a total capacity of 325 MW and operates with 54 Senvion turbines.

Marguerite Pantheon SCSp sold its 10% stake in the Belgian offshore wind farm C-Power. Marguerite Pantheon SCSp is a bespoke investment vehicle managed by Marguerite, in which the specialist global private markets investor, Pantheon, is the sole investor. The stake was acquired by existing co-shareholders. The transaction was signed and closed on 2 February 2024.

The C-Power offshore wind farm is located in Belgium’s exclusive economic zone, 28km north of the Belgian coast, and consists of 6x 5M and 48x 6.15 M Senvion turbines. The project started operation in stages between 2009 and 2013, and it was Marguerite’s first investment, made in 2011.

Marguerite Pantheon SCSp was advised on the sale by Green Giraffe (financial), Clifford Chance (legal), Mott MacDonald (technical) and KPMG (tax).
