Qualitas Energy has appointed Clemens Susen as the new Head of Investment in Germany, effective February 1, 2025. He will lead the company’s investment strategy in the German renewable energy market, with a particular focus on wind energy projects.

Qualitas Energy, a global investment and management platform focused on renewable energy, energy transition, and sustainable infrastructure investment, announced today the appointment of Clemens Susen as Head of Investment. He will be responsible for leading the investment strategy of Qualitas Energy in Germany, effective 1 February 2025.
This appointment follows the recent promotion of Johannes Overbeck, formerly Head of Investment, to the position of Co-CEO. In his new role, he assumes responsibility for overseeing Investment, Structured Finance, Finance, and Legal functions.

Clemens Susen brings valuable experience from his previous roles at renowned companies, including the AREAM Group and EY. In his new position at Qualitas Energy, he will play a key role in identifying and executing major investment opportunities in the German renewable energy market, with a particular focus on acquiring wind project rights under development or with repowering potential as well as platform acquisitions.

Qualitas Energy plans to allocate substantial capital towards the expansion of wind energy projects, funded through the €2.4 billion Qualitas Energy Fund V.
