Space4Earth Capital (S4E) has co-led Hydrosat’s $60m Series B alongside Hartree Partners and Subutai Capital Partners, with Truffle Capital joining and several existing investors participating. The financing will accelerate Hydrosat’s Luxembourg- and US-based expansion, scaling its thermal-imaging satellite constellation and advancing product development to meet rising demand for high-frequency, field-scale thermal intelligence supporting water security, agriculture, environmental monitoring, and broader national resilience.
London, UK – 15 January 2026 Space4Earth Capital (S4E) today announced that it has co-led Hydrosat’s $60 million Series B funding round, supporting the scale-up of thermal intelligence infrastructure critical to global water security, environmental monitoring, and national resilience.
The round was co-led by Space4Earth Capital (S4E), Hartree Partners, and Subutai Capital Partners, with new investment from Truffle Capital and participation from existing investors including the Luxembourg Future Fund, OTB Ventures, Blue Bear Capital, Statkraft Ventures, Cultivation Capital, and Santa Barbara Venture Partners.
The funding will accelerate Luxembourg and US based Hydrosat’s constellation expansion and product development as demand continues to grow for high-frequency, field-scale thermal intelligence to manage water resources, agriculture, and environmental risk.
Hydrosat’s technology enables the early detection of wastewater discharge, agricultural runoff, and industrial pollution, issues that have become increasingly acute across the UK’s rivers and coastal waters. By providing independent, high-resolution monitoring at national scale, Hydrosat supports regulators, utilities, and policymakers in shifting from reactive enforcement to predictive, data-led water management.
S4E’s role as co-lead reflects its focus on space-enabled infrastructure that delivers real-world outcomes.
“We invest in technologies that translate orbital data into operational solutions for water security, sustainable food systems, and national resilience,” said Jodi Bartin, Founder of Space4Earth Capital (S4E) and CEO of Citicourt & Co Limited. “Hydrosat exemplifies this shift. As a board-level investor, we are actively supporting the company’s next phase of growth. This is one of the most fulfilling investments of my career, combining deep technology with globally scalable applications that deliver both impact and substantial revenue potential.”
Advised by Citicourt & Co Limited, Space4Earth Capital (S4E) combines investment with strategic advisory expertise across multiple space, technical and engineering expertise, institutional fundraising, M&A, and government engagement in the UK and Europe.
George Freeman MP, Chair of S4E’s Advisory Board, added:
“As former UK Space Minister, this is an exciting moment for the sector. Governments and companies around the world are recognising and investing in dual-use satellite services for supply chain resilience, emissions tracking, defence and security. The UK has a long history of pioneering space science, technology and SatComms, and as a global hub of space finance, insurance and regulation in the City of London.
“Through Space 4 Earth Capital (S4E), established by longstanding space sector advisers Citicourt & Co in London, our team is strategically investing in building pioneering companies like Hydrosat with technology, service revenues & dual-use market application opportunities into global businesses.”
Hydrosat currently operates two thermal infrared satellites, capturing over 10 million square kilometres of imagery per day. Its AI- and machine-learning-enhanced analytics deliver actionable insights for water use optimisation, drought detection, and environmental monitoring across civil, commercial, and defence markets.
“This funding positions Hydrosat to meet rapidly growing global demand for intelligent water and environmental monitoring,” Pieter Fossel, CEO and Co-Founder of Hydrosat.
