Energy Infrastructure
We invest on a global scale in buy and build power generation and distribution businesses, driven by strong market demand and growth, supporting the energy transition and accelerating the journey to net zero.
With an estimated $173 trillion of energy infrastructure investment required over the next three decades, we see a compelling market opportunity to build global sustainability leaders in the energy sector while delivering consistent returns for our investors.
In Power Generation, we acquire and build projects to build world-class generation businesses that will produce predictable cash flows. Our power generation investments are aligned to the energy transition with a strong focus on renewables and decarbonisation.
In Electricity Distribution, we acquire and improve high growth monopoly distribution businesses.

Private EquityBuyout
Our Private Equity team manages a portfolio of investments in consumer, banking and fintech sectors.
We bring sector and operational expertise to investments in our portfolio, working alongside management to deliver successful exits.
Digital InfrastructureBuyout
Digital Infrastructure
The world is expected to use 20 times more data than it does today by 2030. As demand for data increases exponentially, the associated digital infrastructure is needed to combat global imbalances in supply and demand and enable inclusive economic growth.
We focus our Digital Infrastructure investments into three key subsectors: Data centres, towers and fibre. Our strategy is based around acquiring assets and improving utilisation, developing and operating shared infrastructure platforms, and building new capacity where supply is low. We mitigate investment risk by seeking long-term contracts with reputable counterparties.
Digital Infrastructure lies at the intersection of our platform building capabilities and we have already committed over US$1.7 billion, building on our Actis track record to create sustainable, and future-proof digital platforms of scale.
Long Life InfrastructureBuyout
We buy operating infrastructure assets with stable contracted cash flows and create operational value over a 10+ year hold period, delivering consistent cash yield to our investors.
We focus on building sustainability leaders. Our Long Life Infrastructure strategy invests in stabilised operating assets within multiple infrastructure sectors including power, transport and logistics.
We embed our in-house Operations and Sustainability teams to underpin value creation and deliver measurable ESG impact.
Real EstateReal Estate
We invest in real estate that enables the New Economy. With sustainability at the core of our approach, we deliver institutional quality cash flows by developing and operating assets in some of the world’s most dynamic cities, enabling long-term positive impact on local communities.
With over US$760 billion of real estate transaction volume in 2021 just in Asia, we see a compelling global opportunity of scale driven by secular tailwinds. We call these the ‘4 Ds’ of Real Estate: Demographic shifts, Deficient real estate supply, Digital disruption and Demand for yield.
We generate returns for our investors through recognising global themes and then applying our deep understanding of local micro market dynamics. We work with established operating partners and build operating teams to provide quality, affordable and sustainable properties that appeal to both occupiers and investors seeking institutional quality cash flows.
