Strategies

InfrastructureInfrastructure
EIG’s deep sector expertise and internal technical capabilities permit us to structure creative solutions for our industry partners in complex situations. Our investment approach, which emphasizes capital preservation and the opportunity to participate in the upside of projects we finance, seeks to generate returns for our investors over multiple business and commodity cycles. EIG has the capability to invest at any place in the capital structure of an energy project or company, from common equity to senior debt. EIG typically invests in hybrid debt or structured equity securities, but we have the flexibility to work with our partners to craft customized solutions to their financing challenges. We typically seek to commit a minimum of $100 million to a project or company and have the capacity to commit $1 billion or more to a single transaction. Energy Transition
