ZÜRICH, Switzerland - FiveT Fintech, a leading independent venture capital firm specializing in financial technology investments, today announced the appointment of Alexandre Moreillon as Investment Director. The strategic hire comes as FiveT Fintech launched its second fund and third investment vehicle, building on its successful track record in distributed ledger technology and enterprise solutions.

Alexandre brings extensive experience in venture capital and financial technology, most recently serving as Principal at CommerzVentures, where he successfully deployed capital across European fintech companies at Series A and B. His appointment reinforces FiveT Fintech's position as a partner of choice for Swiss and European financial institutions in their digital transformation journey.

Prior to joining FiveT Fintech, Alexandre held key positions at CommerzVentures and at Palantir Technologies, where he focused on business development for enterprise clients. He began his career at UBS in Corporate Development and as a Management Consultant at Synpulse, specializing in banking transformation projects. A Lausanne-native and engineer by training from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Alexandre also holds an MBA from INSEAD.
